Facts about Atlantic Bonito
Typical tunny shape, numerous, up to 10 stripes on the back. No belly markings.
Colour: dorsal stripes oblique with a large angle. An offshore tuna, although known to come closer inshore than other tuna species, and can therefore adapt easily to gradual water temperature changes. Has a sea temperature requirement of between 15/22C
